Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA is seeking an Telemetry Technician for the North Tele department. This full-time role requires day shifts of 12 hours and involves continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring and telemetry-based arrhythmia detection.

Required training includes dysrhythmia recognition, basic arrhythmia knowledge, and ECG testing prior to offer. BLS from the American Heart Association is required; orientation includes online courses and competency assessments.

Telemetry Technician - North Tele at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. This position is Full-time and will work 12-hour, Day shifts. Performs cardiac telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia detection through continuous observation of the Central Monitoring system as a primary job responsibility and performs department clerical duties as a collateral responsibility. Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Recognition Course.
• Coursework/Training: Required to either have completed the “Basic Arrythmia” course or have demonstrated experience in rhythm interpretation.
• Coursework/Training: Will require applicants to complete ECG test prior to job offer being extended.
• Coursework/Training: Will be enrolled in an internally-developed online course as part of orientation.
• Coursework/Training: Will have periodic competency assessment.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course.
• 6 months Experience in a hospital environment.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
