Job summary

Covenant Health's Parkwest Medical Center in West Knoxville seeks a Cardiac Telemetry Specialist for Telemetry Control. This full-time role (80 hours per pay period, day shift) coordinates continuous cardiac and related monitoring, interfaces with care teams, and ensures accurate rhythm identification and timely communication.

You will manage telemetry equipment, document ECG data, activate emergent responses, and support infection control and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum education may be a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring is preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate continuous cardiac monitoring for the telemetry control unit.
• Identify abnormal rhythms and communicate findings to care staff.
• Assign telemetry equipment and ensure readiness.
• Maintain telemetry documentation and enter related charges.
• Perform equipment maintenance and infection control per policy.
• Assist with emergency procedures when needed.
