Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is hiring an RN to assist in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating patient care for designated areas. The role includes serving as a clinical resource for staff and patients and performing staff nurse duties with managerial responsibilities as delegated.

A BLS within 30 days is required, with possible ACLS/NRP/ETC depending on unit. The ideal candidate has 2 years of patient care experience, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and an active RN license

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• 2 years' experience in patient care.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; must meet state board requirements.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
