Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelors preferred.
• Active RN license and BLS/ACLS per requirements.
• Minimum five years of direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based care.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and family through bedside shift reports, rounds and teaching.
• Maintains practice using current clinical standards.
• Coordinates safe, high-quality care with interdisciplinary communication.
• Demonstrates teamwork and supports recruitment/retention.
• Participates in performance improvement and governance activities.
• Completes required competency assessments and mandatory education.
• Serves as a preceptor/mentor for staff and students.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and data collection for improvement.
