Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• License to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
• Assumes nursing components of patient/family education using the nursing process and evaluates understanding.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment; ensures accurate documentation and timely medication/IV administration.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
