Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team. The RN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while supervising assigned staff and coordinating with physicians and other professionals.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active Texas RN license, BLS, and 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and openly with patients, families and team members.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Be accountable for performance and strive to improve the patient experience.
