Job summary

Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN is seeking an experienced RN for our 72-hour per pay period cardiac telemetry unit. You will care for patients with heart failure, acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions, delivering patient-centered care on a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license with BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes.
• Collaborates with patient, family and health team to develop an integrated care plan.
• Develops individualized plans based on age, social and cultural considerations.
• Evaluates care and patient response to interventions and outcomes.
• Communicates effectively with patient, family and health care team across settings.
• Advances care using guidelines, care pathways and continuous improvement.
• Promotes evidence-based practice (EBP).
