Job summary

Mercy is seeking qualified nursing staff to deliver compassionate patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. The role requires accountability for patient care, coordination with other departments, and safeguarding patient rights.

Applicants must graduate from a nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) and hold an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, with Basic Life Support certification either in hand or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (ADN/Diploma/BSN).
• RN license required and must be maintained in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications may be required depending on position/unit (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care following Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments; ensure continuity and accountability.
