Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse on our cardiac telemetry floor to deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and upholding patient rights. Our unit handles post-op CABG patients, TAVRs, Watchman, and post-cath care; acuity varies and care includes monitoring, medication adjustments, and EKGs.

Education requirement: nursing degree; RN license in state; BLS and relevant certifications may be required; Mercy offers strong benefits

Qualifications

Graduation from a nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to provide safe, patient-centered care.
Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
Uphold patient rights and maintain confidentiality; comply with Mercy Service Standards.
