Job summary

Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, part of Methodist Healthcare System, seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse for Cardiac Telemetry to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with collaboration among the care team. You will support pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and advocate for patients to ensure an outstanding experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Texas RN License or Multi-State Compact License with requirement to obtain Texas license within 60 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures as ordered by medical providers.
• Document administration of care in the patient medical record promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
