Lutheran Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Telemetry on the 5A unit in Fort Wayne, IN. This full-time role offers a 0.9 FTE schedule (36 hours/week) with day shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A welcome bonus up to $35,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Join a 24-bed cardiac telemetry team with strong leadership and collaborative culture. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered care, coordinate plans, and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN licensure valid in Indiana or compact state.
• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care is required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and deliver care per physician orders and protocols.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to plan and execute care plans.
• Monitor telemetry, track heart rhythms, and respond to abnormalities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control standards and patient safety.
