Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse MNA in the Med/Surg- Cardiac Telemetry department for a 32-hour schedule, 3pm-11pm, every other weekend. The RN will provide age-appropriate care and uphold patient rights and values.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, teaching, care planning, and collaboration to restore optimal function. Must have strong clinical, organizational, and computer skills, and be able to lift and move patients; English communication required.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); BSN within 4 years required.
• Current RN MA license & BLS required.
• 1–2 years of acute Med/Surg experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides care addressing the needs of age groups from infant to elderly, incorporating patient rights and our mission, vision and values into nursing practice.
• The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for quality of care, health maintenance, teaching, counseling, and collaboration to restore optimal function and comfort.
• The RN must have excellent assessment, clinical, organizational and computer skills; able to lift/move patients and communicate in English.
