Texas Health Resources in Fort Worth is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for Cardiac Tele to support patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role partners with nurses to collect data, assist with admissions, transfers and discharges, and perform technical procedures safely while documenting care accurately.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CLIAFE compliance, and approved PCT/EMT training; plenty of opportunities for growth in a leading cardiovascular care

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• CLIAFE compliance must be met for foreign education equivalency.
• PCT Training TX CNA/NHA/NAHP/NCCT or THR approved program; certification upon hire if applicable.
• EMT training or equivalent; EMT-B level; upon hire required or equivalent.
• Nursing student with fundamentals completed or foreign nurse degree program; upon hire.
• 1 year of applicable experience in lieu of an active certification; upon hire.
• BCLS prior to independent patient care and quarterly maintenance.
• CPI training maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care and assistance based on the plan of care and patient/family preferences.
• Collects and reports patient data, supports admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Performs technical procedures safely and documents care accurately.
• Collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and proactively meets patient and visitor needs.
• Demonstrates teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines.
• Participates in process improvement, adheres to safety goals, and advocates for patients.
