Job summary

Premier Health Partners' Upper Valley Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support nurses in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit. The role is a 7:00AM-7:30PM full-time shift, 36 hours per week, days.

You will monitor vitals, assist with mobility and daily tasks, collect samples, and promptly report changes to the nursing team. High school diploma and BLS CPR are required; no prior experience is necessary, with training paths available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• You’ll need to obtain a BLS CPR certificate.
• Prior hospital experience not required; multiple training paths offered.

Responsibilities

• Check temperature, heartbeat, breathing and vitals.
• Help patients move, dress, eat and tolerate care.
• Collect samples such as urine when needed.
• Report changes in patient condition to a nurse.
• Assist with walks, hygiene and daily activities.
