Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - Nursing: 4WCE is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support licensed nurses in daily patient care. The role involves 3 twelve-hour shifts with every other weekend and holidays assigned. 36 hours per week with benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, vital signs, specimen collection, and EMR documentation. Requires BLS and Ohio? state registry eligibility, GED/HSED or HS diploma, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated by State Registry.
• Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) or High School Graduate.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Measures and records vital signs and inputs/outputs in EMR.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge tasks under RN supervision.
• Performs specimen collection and basic point‑of‑care testing as directed.
• Restocks nursing area and maintains equipment and supplies.
