Job summary

STHS McAllen is seeking a Monitor Technician to oversee cardiac telemetry readings from a centralized unit location via wireless networks. You will maintain readiness and perform related duties, including weekends and on-call shifts as required.

The role requires completion of a dysrhythmia course, current BLS certification, and basic computer skills, with 6–12 months of healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Complete dysrhythmia course prior to orientation.
• Current BLS certification required per AHA guidelines.
• Basic computer skills.
• Six months to one year of healthcare-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' cardiac telemetry readings from a centralized location via wireless network.
• Routinely work every other weekend, holidays, overtime, and/or on-call/call-back status in assigned shift.
