Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required.
• Current Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license required.
• Nurses holding a compact license must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients at shift start and monitor continuously.
• Identify condition changes and notify team.
• Administer meds per orders and protocols.
• Monitor telemetry and responses to treatment.
• Perform procedures and interventions as ordered.
• Recognize adverse reactions and manage outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
• Educate patients/families on diagnoses, meds, discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and team to coordinate care.
