Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient condition during each shift
• Administer medications and monitor responses
• Ensure timely documentation in the EMR
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, medications and follow-up care
• Serve as an advocate for patients and ensure a safe, healing environment
• Translate complex medical terms to ensure patient and caregiver udnerstanding
