Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care on the Telemetry unit. The role involves assisting RNs with daily patient care, accurate documentation in the EMR, and participation in admission/transfer/discharge processes. Schedule includes weekends Fri/Sat/Sun, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 36 hours per week, with benefits eligibility.

Required: GED or HS diploma, Nurse Aide in good standing, and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 45 days. Experience not required."

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, positioning) and document vital signs and weights in EMR.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision, assist with room setup and patient belongings.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient observations to the RN, assist with moving and transferring patients safely.
• Assist with nutritional needs and diet-related tasks under RN direction and maintain skin care and supplies.
