The role requires Missouri RN licensure, BLS at hire, and ACLS within 6 months, with strong communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current Missouri RN licensure.
- Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
- BLS certification at hire and maintained.
- ACLS required within 6 months.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Assess acute changes in patients on the Cardiac Telemetry unit; monitor and analyze heart rhythms; interpret ECGs and note arrhythmias.
- Intervene in emergency situations and provide timely, high-level nursing care.
- Care for patients recovering from open heart surgeries, cardiac catheterization with stents, ablations, pace maker/AICD placements, and other cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with cardiology providers and other teams to ensure evidence-based care.
- Support ongoing growth and professional development within the unit.
