Job summary

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Telemetry unit in Missouri. The full-time RN will perform comprehensive assessments, plan patient care, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team.

The role requires Missouri RN licensure (or COMPACT eligibility), BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. Competitive shift differentials and a sign-on bonus are noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited RN program.
• RN license in Missouri, COMPACT state, or be eligible for licensure.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments.
• Anticipate patient and family needs to develop a care plan with critical thinking.
• Identify and implement nursing interventions; document actions timely.
• Prioritize interventions, identify changes in condition, and communicate with the team.
• Evaluate effectiveness of interventions and modify the plan of care.
• Adhere to ANA standards and hospital policies; practice within the CARE model.
• Provide education to patients and families; document education and discharge plans.
• Orient and welcome patients; involve patients in daily care planning and goals.
• Advocate for safety, resources, and unit budget initiatives.
• Participate in peer evaluation, quality improvement, and committee work.
