Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide charge nurse responsibilities: assignments, throughput management, staffing to matrix.
• Manage a patient care assignment based on care needs.
• Assist with hiring, education and performance evaluation of staff.
• Collaborate with Nurse Manager and HR on counseling and discipline.
• Instruct staff to ensure standards via daily monitoring and performance management.
• Serve as a mentor for clinical practice and patient/staff satisfaction.
• Pursue unit productivity targets and budget compliance.
• Lead unit performance improvement activities and outcomes.
