Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Cardiographic Technician to join our team in the Upper Midwest. The role supports emergency responses to heart rhythm irregularities, monitors ECGs, and assists physicians in urgent care settings. Shift: 8 hours, day shifts, 40 hours weekly, with compensation based on experience.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma, CCT/CRAT/NTA certifications are encouraged, CNA preferred, and a commitment to patient-focused care within a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) certification, Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring certification (CRAT) or National Telemetry Certification encouraged but not required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph (EKG) monitors to detect abnormal heart rhythms.
• Assists physicians in emergency responses to heart irregularities.
• Observes an electrocardiograph (EKG) monitor and examines heartbeat patterns to identify abnormal variations in heart rhythms.
• Recognizes emergency situations and informs physicians for immediate action.
• Records the heart's electrical activities using an EKG monitor and checks the quality of recorded material.
• Orders and stocks supplies as necessary. Prints an EKG report for physician interpretation and diagnosis.
