Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Upton, MA is seeking a per diem cardiac testing professional. This non-exempt role performs EKGs, pacemaker telemetry, and monitoring under the cardiology team, with a Monday–Friday schedule and day shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma, four years of cardiac testing experience, BLS certification, and pacemaker competency. A signing bonus may be available; final offer depends on hours, experience, and internal equity.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years progressively responsible experience in cardiac testing.
• Proficiency in pacemaker telemetry, cardiac monitor analysis and pacemaker interrogation.
• BLS certification required and pacemaker competency or CVIS administration competency.
• Experience with cardiac information systems and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Obtains and reviews patient history prior to testing and prepares patient.
• Performs EKGs and uses MUSE CVIS for data entry and review.
• Conducts Exercise Tolerance Testing under MD direction.
• May assist during Implantable Loop procedure and Tilt testing.
• Responsible for device reports and communicating abnormal findings.
