Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA is seeking a Cardiology Technician I for per diem coverage. The role requires performing EKGs, exercise stress testing and Holter monitoring under supervision, with day/evening shifts.

The position reports to the Cardiology Manager. Candidates should have a high school diploma, cardiology background, CPR certification and experience with Holter monitors. Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 is required or an approved exemption.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, cardiology background, CPR certified, and Stress Testing knowledge preferred.
• EKG certification program preferred.
• Working knowledge of all EKG procedures including Holter Monitors and various types of Stress Testing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms and exercise stress testing.
• Apply and remove Holter Monitors; report abnormal findings to appropriate sources.
• Coordinate with the Cardiology Manager or designee.
