Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is hiring Surgical Technologists at Fairview Hospital to support sterile technique and instrument handling under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses. You will prepare sterile tables, pass instruments, and participate in intraoperative counts and aseptic protocol.

The role offers day shifts 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with on-call requirements, providing hands-on learning and opportunities to grow professionally within a world‑class healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program accredited through CAAHEP or ABHES.
• OR completion of military surgical technology program.
• Certification CST or TS-C if not completed accredited program.
• BLS certification by AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub functions and assist in circulating functions under RN supervision.
• Set up sterile table and ensure supplies, drugs and equipment are available.
• Assist RN in counts of sponges and instruments during surgery.
• Assist in gowning/gloving and draping of patients.
• Maintain aseptic conditions throughout procedure.
