Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit on the Night shift. This full-time role provides critical care with close monitoring and autonomous clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities include patient/family advocacy, medication and treatment instruction, and collaboration with a supportive team to deliver exceptional care while protecting privacy. Florida licensure and BLS are required; ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 1+ years Acute Care RN experience with strong background in general acute care.
• Florida RN license or eligibility to obtain before start.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• CCRN a plus; must be obtained within 2 years. NIHSS stroke certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessments.
• Make clinical assessments and autonomously manage treatments.
• Collaborate with the team to support patient care.
• Advocate for patients and families, protecting privacy.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatments.
• Deliver high-focused care with a commitment to continuous improvement.
