Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. in Hackensack, NJ seeks a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with RNFA to assist, monitor, and manage patient needs under physician supervision. The role performs PA duties under standard medical guidelines in a hospital setting.

Two years of cardiac PA experience is required, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed and no on-call requirement. Licensure and certifications must include NJ RN license, APN license, BLS, ACLS, and RNFA credential.

Qualifications

• 1. Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
• 2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 3. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

• The PA/APN with RNFA assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients under the supervision of a physician.
• Performs duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to standard medical practices.
