Job Specifics:
* Seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented NP/PA to work with a team of Cardiac Surgery ICU APPs and Cardiac Surgeons
* Applicants must have the ability to manage pre and post-operative cardiac surgery patients, diagnose patients and implement a plan of care for acute and chronic health conditions in the Cardiac Surgery ICU including management of fluid status, intra-aortic ballon pump management, hemodynamics, ventilator management, as well as procedures (central line placement, intubation, etc)
* 6 bed Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit
* 12 to 24-hour shifts available

Experience and Skills

• 0 - 1 year Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Required)
• 2 - 4 years Nurse Practitioner Physician Assistant (Preferred)

Required Skills: Strong critical care patient management experience preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills as well as effective written and oral communication skills. Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Additional Information

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $60-85.00/hr
