Jefferson University Physicians is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the acute care hospital team. The role collaborates with multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive care for acute and complex chronically ill patients in an inpatient setting.

The position requires a master’s degree, 3–5 years CT surgery experience, and national board certification as an ACNP with RNFA or PA, along with BLS. Rotating shifts and full-time status apply.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree required.
• 3-5 years of CT Surgery experience.
• At least 2 years of first assist experience.
• National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with RNFA or Physician Assistant.
• BLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Performs history and physicals and documents in the medical record.
• Orders and collects data using assessment techniques and diagnostics.
• May serve as first responder for patient status changes.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to diagnose acute and complex conditions.
• Implements and modifies plan of care and prescribes interventions.
• Maintains documentation of patient progress and discharge summaries.
• Maintains CEUs and professional organization membership.
