Jefferson University Physicians in Philadelphia seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the acute care hospital team. The role collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, performs histories/examinations, orders diagnostics, and contributes to the care plan for complex patients.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, planning and documenting care, and mentoring students.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3-5 years CT Surgery experience.
• At least 2 years of first assist experience.
• National Board Certification as an Acute Care NP with RNFA or PA BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Performs histories and physicals and documents in the medical record.
• Orders and reviews diagnostic data and tests as indicated.
• Acts as first responder for patient status changes and critical interventions.
• Collaborates with the care team to manage acute and complex chronic conditions.
• Maintains and documents plan of care, outcomes, and discharge plans.
• Participates in rounds, education, research, and professional activities.

Formation

Master’s degree CT Surgery experience

2+ years first assist experience

NACNP with RNFA or PA BLS certification
