Job summary

CDL Nuclear Technologies is hiring a Cardiac Stress Technician to support our cardiac client facilities in Houston, TX. You will guide patients through stress testing procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and precise data collection under the supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist and physician.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher; healthcare exposure preferred.
• Experience as Monitor Technician, EMT, or Paramedic with cardiac/telemetry background.
• IV experience preferred.
• CPR and BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and clinical labs.
• Ability to lift or assist patients.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and escorting patients through the clinic
• Obtaining brief patient histories and performing assessments
• Monitoring patients during procedures, including vital signs
• Starting IVs and assisting with treadmill and pharmacological stress tests
• ECG monitoring and patient charting
• Working under the direction of the Nuclear Medicine Technologist and physician
