Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Hospital Lab Technician 3 to support ECG/Cardiac Stress Testing Lab operations. You will assist in cardiac stress testing, ECG acquisition, and scheduling, while coordinating with Nuclear Medicine and Echo Departments.

This role provides guidance to staff and supports device monitoring under clinical supervision. Qualifications include ECG interpretation training, a high school diploma, current CPR/BLS certification, and 3+ years of stress testing experience.

Qualifications

• Training in ECG interpretation and analysis.
• High school graduation.
• Current CPR and BLS certification within 4 months of hire.
• Completion of Cardiovascular Technician training program or equivalent.
• Min 3 years of experience as a Stress Testing or related cardiovascular medical technician.
• Previous work experience using personal computer applications. Ability to operate computer-based stress testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac stress testing, ECG acquisition, and scheduling.
• Provide guidance and support to lab staff for stress testing services.
• Coordinate testing with Nuclear Medicine and Echo Departments.
