Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking an RN Registered Nurse for the Post-Open Heart Stepdown unit to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the medical team. You will provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and advocate for outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, administering medications, documenting care, and maintaining safety and compassionate care standards throughout the patient journey.

Qualifications

• RN Licensure required.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the medical team.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care.
• Monitor patient status, document care, and administer prescribed medications.
