Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 40-bed CPPCU unit. You will lead a multidisciplinary team on the night shift, oversee venous access and infusion therapy, and drive care quality on a high-acuity cardiovascular service line.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with ACLS, an associate degree in nursing, and experience in acute care settings. You will mentor staff, participate in performance improvements, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapies, adjust plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy for understanding and compliance.
• Monitor nursing staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct appraisals.
• Foster staff growth by identifying training needs and mentoring.
• Resolve staff conflicts promptly to maintain positive team dynamics.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing changes.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
