Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 4 South Cardiac Stepdown unit in Michigan. This part-time role supports patient-centered care, with shift times from 7p to 7:30a and on-call duties as needed.

The nurse will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care in a dynamic cardiac setting. Required qualifications include an Associate Degree in Nursing, current Michigan RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program (preferred).
• ACLS certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
