Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking an RN for the 4 South Cardiac Step Down unit in Michigan. The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality care using the nursing process and collaborate with the care team to meet patient and family needs.

Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning and implementing nursing care, intervening as required, and evaluating outcomes. Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree and Michigan RN license; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.

Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing program
