Job summary

McLaren Health Care is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 4 South Cardiac Step Down unit in Michigan. You will deliver high-quality nursing care through the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and adhere to hospital policies and standards of practice.

The role focuses on patient/family centered care and delegation of activities as needed. Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning and implementing care, intervening as required, and evaluating outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is preferred.
• ACLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of the patient.
• Plans and implements nursing care according to patient and family needs.
• Makes appropriate interventions based upon individual patient needs.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assumes personal responsibility for quality patient care, patient satisfaction, environment, and professional development.
