Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to deliver high-quality care.

The staff nurse will work within organizational policies, maintain standards of practice, and coordinate care activities among assigned staff to ensure safety and excellence in patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure current in Georgia is required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
