Job summary

Mercy in St. Louis, MO seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the nursing process, ensuring dignity and confidentiality. You will evaluate care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold Mercy Service Standards. Current RN license in MO and BLS required; ACLS/PNC etc preferred depending on unit, plus strong teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification required; other certifications may be required based on position/unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
