Job summary

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a Special Full Time RN for our Cardiac Stepdown Department. The Registered Nurse is responsible for daily planning, coordination, and monitoring of care with the nursing staff and other health care professionals caring for the patient.

Accountable for assuring effective use of resources, maintaining standards of care and meeting outcomes within an appropriate length of stay. Assists with the management needs of Nursing Unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or compact state.
• BLS required.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor patient care with nursing staff and health care professionals.
• Ensure effective use of resources and maintain established standards of care.
• Meet outcomes within an appropriate length of stay.
• Assist with management needs of the Nursing Unit.
