Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, NJ. The role focuses on delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey nursing license required.
BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
Minimum 6 months nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency program.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based practice and standards of care.
Maintain ongoing communication with patients and care teams about status and plans.
Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
Document patient assessments, plans, interventions and evaluations in real time.
Provide patient and family education to promote health and disease management.
Coordinate multidisciplinary discharges for safe continuity of care.
