Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Progressive Coronary Care 5W unit. This full-time role provides patient care in a fast-paced, supportive environment, with a 36-hour workweek and a 6pm–6am schedule.

The CNA will assist with patient comfort, safety, and basic care under supervision, collaborating closely with registered nurses and other care team members to ensure high-quality, family-centered care for adolescents to the elderly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification required (state).
• BCLS certification required.
• Completed course of instruction from an approved training program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision as part of the nursing team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and quiet environment to support patient comfort.
• Promote family-centered care and assist with patient and family education as needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other hospital staff to support adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
