Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA is seeking an RN for the Cardiac Step-Down Unit (5W) on the night shift (1900-0700). This full-time role covers a 36-hour week with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour and a sign-on bonus eligible.

The unit focuses on cardiac procedures and progressive care for diverse patients. Responsibilities include delivering safe nursing care, monitoring patient conditions, educating patients and families, and participating in quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Current GA RN license.
• Experience in cardiac care or progressive care preferred.
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to cardiac and higher acuity patients in the unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based projects.
