Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join the 2F Step-Down ICU on a part-time basis, 24 hours per week, night shifts from 7pm to 7am. The role works under the supervision of registered nurses and participating in delegated patient care activities in a high-acuity unit.

Ideal candidates have prior Nursing Assistant experience and a current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification. High school diploma or CNA may be preferred but is not required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Previous Nursing Assistant experience required.
• High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse, providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
