Job summary

Beloit Health System is seeking a compassionate RN for the Cardiac Step-Down/Intermediate Care Unit. The Cardiac Stepdown RN provides specialized nursing care for patients transitioning from intensive cardiac care, with telemetry interpretation and rapid response to changing conditions.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, patient-centered care. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Wisconsin licensure, CPR/BLS, ACLS within 6

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• State of Wisconsin nursing licensure, compact license or temporary permit.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
• Must be ACLS certified within 6 months of hire.
• ASLS and NIHSS stroke certified within 1 year of hire.
• Cardiac Telemetry course completion within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and provide care for patients throughout their lifespan.
• Interpret cardiac telemetry monitoring and respond to rapid changes in patient conditions.
• Assess physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and families.
• Provide patient/family education appropriately.
• Adhere to infection control policies and standards of care.
• Perform unit-specific duties and document according to policy.
