Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license with applicable state practice.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI, stroke scale certs may be required by unit.
• Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients and screens health status; documents changes per protocol.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care with the care team.
• Administers medications safely and monitors responses and adverse effects.
• Educates patients and families about treatments, risks, and self-care.
• Documents all care activities accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Participates in ongoing professional development and maintains licensure.
