Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of disease state management, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively.
• Detail-oriented with focus on clinical and numerical data.
• Strong conflict management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing to ensure nursing care standards and budget alignment.
• Assess and adjust staffing for current and upcoming shifts.
• Coach and counsel nursing personnel per hospital policy.
• Monitor adherence to time and attendance policies.
• Provide clinical expertise in patient placement and bed availability.
• Coordinate transfers and assess patient needs for movement.
• Communicate effectively to resolve issues and maintain continuity of care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for patient care activities and problem resolution.
• Exercise professional judgment in evolving patient/unit situations.
• Monitor and evaluate care standards.
• Utilize the nursing process to meet patient needs.
• Assist in revising unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Support performance improvement and educational activities.
