Job summary

Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts in Sacramento, CA, seeks a Cardiac Sonography Instructor to join our growing healthcare education team. The role is full-time at our Sacramento campus with salary range $110,000-$115,000 per year.

You will teach classes, guide students in scanning techniques, evaluate progress, and maintain CME through ARDMS requirements. A professional background as a staff sonographer and active ARDMS/RDCS certification with current licensure are required.

Qualifications

• AS degree or higher in sonography is required
• RDCS/ARDMS certification preferred or required
• Current licensure in good standing in the discipline
• 3–5 years of staff sonographer experience in imaging facilities
• Teaching experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Teach classes according to the schedule and syllabus
• Instruct students in scanning techniques and approaches
• Monitor and evaluate student progress in sonography
• Maintain CME records per ARDMS requirements
• Contribute to program quality and student success
