Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:

• TEE and TTE experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Treadmill/Dobutamine Stress Test Echo experience preferred.
• Starting IVs is a preferred skill because sonographers push an echo-enhancing agent.

Unit Details:

• Adult studies are required; pediatric studies are desired.
• Common studies include TEE and TTE.
• Structured reporting is required.
• Average volume is 6-9 scans/studies per day.
• Uses Merge Cardio PACS and Philips ultrasound equipment.
• A radiologist is in-house for inpatient areas; tests are read by the cardiologist.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Sunday-Saturday scheduling with an every-other-weekend requirement.
• Holiday coverage is likely.
• Call/standby requirements vary.

Floating Requirements:

• Floating is required among four locations: two locations at each YRMC campus, including one inpatient and one outpatient location.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:
